Maharajah Jungle Trek - Asia - Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park
Similar to the Pangani Forest Exploration Trail in Africa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, the Maharajah Jungle Trek is a walk-through attraction that winds through the ruins of an Indian temple and takes you through a variety of exotic animal habitats. The area is home to tigers, gibbons, bats, Komodo dragons, deer, tapir and birds, including the Sarus crane (the world’s tallest flying bird) and Indian Pygmy Geese.
Don’t forget to bring your camera on the jungle trek since you are bound to discover a multitude of photo opportunities along the way! Looking for souvenirs near the Maharajah Jungle Trek? Check out the nearby Mandala Gifts.
Note: The Maharajah Jungle Trek is wheelchair accessible.
MAHARAJAH JUNGLE TREK REVIEW: Highlights of the Maharajah Jungle Trek are views of tigers and Komodo dragons, as well as a unique bat habitat. Get there early in the morning and you'll probably have the trail to yourself.
