An indoor thrill ride located within the Norway Pavilion, Maelstrom sends you aboard a 16-passenger Viking boat that takes you on a wild journey forward and backward through a Norwegian forest and 10 th-century Viking village on your way to the treacherous North Sea. Watch out for the trolls!
The 10-minute Maelstrom ride combines audio-animatronic figures and amazing special effects to make for an unforgettable experience. A brief movie on modern-day Norway is shown at the end of the thrill ride, followed by an exit through a Norwegian-themed gift shop.
Note: Maelstrom is a FASTPASS attraction. Make sure to check out the list of health restrictions posted at the entrance to the ride.
