Great Movie Ride - Disney's Hollywood Studios
Take an exciting tour through the history of American film and experience many memorable scenes along the way during The Great Movie Ride, which was one of the original attractions at Disney-MGM Studios (now Disney's Hollywood Studios) when the theme park first opened its doors in May 1989.
The Great Movie Ride is housed in the replica of Mann’s Chinese Theater that lies at the Northern end of Hollywood Boulevard. The approximately 22-minute ride takes you through such classic film scenes as The Public Enemy, The Wizard of Oz, Fantasia, Casablanca, Singin’ in the Rain, Alien, Raiders of the Lost Ark and more! Enjoy audio-animatronic likenesses of such superstars as Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, James Cagney, Julie Andrews, John Wayne and Gene Kelly.
Note: The Great Movie Ride is wheelchair accessible. Some of the movie scenes during The Great Movie Ride, especially Alien, may be too intense for young children.
